Online-Based Training
Our programs are delivered primarily online to ensure accessibility across Africa, with occasional in-person meetups and local partner events for networking and collaboration.
Classroom Approach

MicroTeams & Project Work

Time
Availability to commit to the training schedule, which typically involves 2.5hours (average) of study and practice each day and 4 hours on weekends.
Stable Internet
All of our training programs are online. This ensures accessibility and flexibility for learners and trainers across different regions, enabling them to participate from the comfort of their homes.
Minimum qualifications
The minimum qualification to join our training programs is a high school diploma or equivalent; Knowledge of English, A strong passion for technology and a willingness to learn.

Primetek Academy Learning Plan
Primetek Academy runs four focused programs — Codecamp (software development), Datacam (data analytics), Cybercamp (cyber security) and Mediacamp (media production). Each program follows an intensive, project-led curriculum that prepares learners for the job market.
Stage 1 : Foundations
During the first month, students explore the basics of programming, data, cyber security or media production depending on the program. They learn core concepts, tools, and workflows through hands-on exercises and mini-projects. This stage builds a strong foundation for the intensive learning ahead.

This is the heart of the program, students dive deep into the core skills of their chosen track. They work on real-world projects, collaborate in teams, and receive mentorship from industry professionals. The curriculum is designed to mirror the demands of the job market.

Our Programs
Codecamp : Software Development
A hands-on full-stack software engineering experience focused on building production-ready web applications. Students learn modern JavaScript, backend APIs, databases, testing, and deployment workflows while collaborating in teams and practising code reviews and agile processes.
- Build and deploy portfolio projects using real-world tech stacks.
- Work in teams with version control, code reviews and CI/CD.
- Gain interview-ready skills: algorithms, debugging and system design basics.
Datacamp : Data Analytics
Practical data and analytics training covering data cleaning, exploration, visualization, and basic modelling. Emphasis is placed on turning messy data into insights and building reproducible analysis pipelines and dashboards.
- Hands-on work with Python, SQL, and data tooling (pandas, Jupyter, visualization).
- Create dashboards and end-to-end analyses that answer real business questions.
- Learn data storytelling and presentation to communicate findings clearly.
Cybercamp : Cyber Security
Applied cyber security training that covers defensive fundamentals, secure configurations, threat analysis, and practical penetration testing techniques. Students practise in lab environments and learn to document findings and remediation steps.
- Lab-based exercises: network and host hardening, monitoring, and incident response.
- Introductory offensive techniques and vulnerability assessment workflows.
- Produce security reports and operational playbooks employers can use.
Mediacamp : Media Production
Creative media production and storytelling training focused on producing high-quality content for digital platforms. Learners practise shooting, editing, sound, and motion graphics, and work on briefs that replicate client-driven production workflows.
- Hands-on projects: short-form videos, podcasts, and portfolio pieces.
- Techniques for camera, lighting, editing and audio post-production.
- Distribution strategies and best practices for building an audience or client base.
