1. Introduction

Welcome to Primetek Academy. By accessing our website, enrolling in any of our programs, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Primetek Academy is a multi-program training organisation delivering Codecamp (software development), Datacamp (data analytics), Cybercamp (cyber security) and Mediacamp (media production). Our programs are delivered in partnership with Orange Corners and with support from partner organisations including The MasterCard Foundation.

2. Eligibility

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, or have parental/guardian consent.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent qualification is the minimum academic requirement.
  • Functional English proficiency is required for all programs.
  • A stable internet connection is required to participate fully in online sessions.

3. Enrollment & Accounts

When you create an account or submit an application, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Primetek Academy reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

4. Program Commitment

  • All programs are intensive, project-based and require consistent attendance.
  • Classes run daily from Monday to Friday according to the published schedule.
  • Attendance is mandatory. Students who consistently fail to attend will be removed from the program.
  • Regular assessments, peer reviews and continuous mentorship are part of the curriculum.
  • Graduates receive certification upon meeting all project submission and evaluation requirements.
  • Students who need additional support receive a dedicated 4-month readjustment program.

5. Code of Conduct

All participants must respect fellow learners, instructors and staff. Harassment, discrimination, plagiarism and any form of dishonesty are strictly prohibited. Violation of the code of conduct may result in immediate removal from the program without refund.

6. Intellectual Property

Projects and coursework created during the program belong to the team that built them. Primetek Academy may request non-commercial showcases of student work for educational and promotional purposes. All course materials, curricula and proprietary tools remain the intellectual property of Primetek Academy and may not be reproduced or distributed without written consent.

7. Payments

Tuition and payment terms are communicated during the onboarding process and vary by program and intake.

  • All card-based payments (Visa, Mastercard, etc.) are securely processed by KilovoltsLab, our trusted technology partner for payment infrastructure.
  • Mobile money and bank transfer options may also be available depending on your region.
  • Payment plans and instalment options, where offered, must be honoured according to the agreed schedule.
  • Failure to meet payment obligations may result in suspension of access to program materials and sessions.

8. Refund Policy

  • Refund eligibility depends on the date of official withdrawal relative to the program start date.
  • Full refunds are available for withdrawals made before the program start date.
  • Partial refunds may be issued for withdrawals within the first two weeks of the program.
  • No refunds are provided after the first two weeks of a program.
  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@primetek.africa.

9. Partnerships

Primetek Academy operates in partnership with key organisations to deliver world-class training and opportunities:

  • Orange Corners — A strategic partner in our entrepreneurship and innovation programs, supporting young African entrepreneurs with training, mentoring and access to networks.
  • KilovoltsLab — Our technology partner responsible for secure card payment processing and payment infrastructure.
  • The MasterCard Foundation — A supporting partner enabling expanded access to training and education across Africa.

These partnerships enhance the quality of our programs and provide students with broader opportunities for growth, employment and entrepreneurship.

10. Data & Privacy

We collect and store personal information (name, email, phone, location) solely for the purpose of managing enrollment, delivering programs and improving our services. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Payment information is processed securely by KilovoltsLab and is never stored on Primetek Academy servers.

11. Limitation of Liability

Primetek Academy strives to provide the highest quality training but does not guarantee employment upon graduation. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount of tuition fees paid by the student.

12. Changes to These Terms

Primetek Academy reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
