Together with Afrix Global and Harvely, we recently contributed to a highly practical workshop focused on preparing young Africans for global software development careers.

Our team actively shared industry experience on open-source contribution as a career accelerator, how to access international opportunities, and how developers can successfully integrate and grow inside large, structured companies. We broke down how real projects are executed: planning, defining KPIs and ETAs, task ownership, accountability, and delivery under real constraints.

We also led discussions and simulations around workplace task management, professional collaboration, and most importantly how developers should position and sell themselves in today’s competitive market.

What Afrix Global is building is a strong foundation of talent. On top of that, PrimeTek Africa and Harvely bring real-world execution, industry expectations, and a clear vision of how African developers can compete and win on the global stage.
Big thanks to Digital Africa for the impactful hashtag#talent4startups program.

PrimeTek Academy is one of the key initiatives through which we equip young Africans with practical, in-demand skills to access real job opportunities and compete in today’s global workforce.
